Patty, thanks for the link. I was anticipating receiving my CCPP budwood order tomorrow( Feb.-3-12), which was ordered in conjunction with a very considerate member of this forum, however we are to receive 2-feet of snow tonight and throughout tomorrow, so I probably will not receive it until Monday or Tuesday. Among the various sticks of budwood that I ordered, are a couple of Valentine. They will be grafted onto a Chandler Pommelo tree that I have had for years. An article about Valentine was written in the CRFG magazine 3 or 4 years ago, also several years ago I received a E-mail from Dr. Tracy Kahn, head of the Citrus Variety Collection, concerning a thread she read on this forum from a member stating that the member had a Valentine tree in their collection, when it had not yet been released by the CCPP. Investigating the matter I found out that the supposed "Valentine" tree was grown from seed, therefore Dr.Kahn did not care because Valentine does not come true from seed. So actually Valentine as a variety has been around for years. - Millet (355 ABO-)

Thanks for the info! It may still take a while before it pops up here though. We're only recently starting to see cara cara oranges here and I think they've been around for a while at your side of the pond also...
