Hi,

A friend of mine bought this fruit as pummelo but I believe it is a grapefruit.
I think pummelo has thicker rind, it has a pointed end as it's form, also inside of this fruit reminds me of grapefruit more than a pummelo.

What do you think? If it is a pummela, what are the evidences or if it is a grapefruit, what are the evidences Very Happy

Thanks,

I think it is a pummelo. They come in round shapes too.
The evidence is the tough, dry, papery membranes between segments and the fact that the flesh is dry until the individual vesicles are broken.
Also this fruit appears to have a slightly hollow core where the membranes have already split. This is typical of pummelo not grapefruit.
