Quite unrelated to citrus, but the UC Davis Picnic Day is coming soon. It will be held on Saturday April 22, 2006. See website below for more details.

In the past, there have been free grafted wine grapes (Zin, merlot, cabernet, chardonnay) at Viticulture department. Also some plant sale. Free seedlings of tomatoes, peppers and other veggie at Vegetable crops department. UC Davis has some citrus collections inside glass houses and I don't know if they will open it to the public this year.

For those of you that will visit UC Davis you can contact me to see if I am available to give you a tour about how much damage all these rains have done to my citrus trees and my yard, LOL.
