I would avoid any satsuma with early in the name as they bloom earlier as well. This tree is actually a pink grapefruit on flying dragon in Bridge City, TX pre hurricane Ike (poor town that got flooded out by hurricane Ike. Out of 3,500 homes, only 14 escaped flooding.)

Nice set up. I'm planning on something similar with mine though perhaps more of a teepee shape.

Earlier satsumas bloom earlier as well. Blooms can be frozen with a late frost. My armstrong early got knocked by a late frost one year and bloomed a 2nd time!

If, or when, your area becomes threatened by greening, you could use your cold protection frames as a screened house, keeping the psyllids out. - Millet (1,435-)
