Here are some shots of the sweet meyer lemon hybrid fruit a Houston citrus nut gave me today. A 2nd friend grew out a bunch of meyer lemon seeds and this is the best of them. Tastes and looks a lot like the bloomsweet fruit I have been eating lately, kind of sweet-tart:

My friend James also notes that another of the seedlings has similar tasting fruit that is meyer lemon shaped.

Very nice! Do you think it is a hybrid from cross pollination with another citrus, or do meyer seedlings naturally produce random hybrids from self pollination?
