Variegated Mandarinquat?

I saw a tree at a nursery/grower and was told it was a mandarinquat. I was sceptical because I saw variegation on it, but bought it anyways.
I assumed it might be a centennial variegated kumquat, however I read on various websites that centennial variegated kumquat trees are thornless. This tree has several small thorns. I have a small variegated kumquat tree and it is completely thornless. Any confirmations?

That looks exactly like my Centennial. The do have thorns.

I have variagated orangequat nippon. So that it might be ones like mine.

Okay, I went to a different nusery yesterday and they had a tree also labeled variegated mandarinquat.
