Looks like a Key lime. Eustis Limequat looks very similar, but has narrower longer leaves. If your concerned that they are turning yellow, all limes will turn yellow when ripe.

The slight elongation of the fruit and the little bit of a neck on the ones on the plate make me think of my Lakeland limequat.

Laaz,Millet and Alan thanks for your replies.I think that my lime is a limequat.Because on the tag it's written as keylime(limequat).I didn't know what kind of citrus it was and wanted to check it out.Today I compared keylime fruits from Wall-Mart and my "keylime" fruits. Now I am sure that my citrus is limequat. But I don't know if it's Eustis or Lakeland ?

I would guess limequat. One of the large citrus nurseries in Florida labels their limequats exactly as Viktor describes. Their tags have a picture of a deer (buck) on them, but Wal-Mart may require their own tag be used. I am not absolutly sure, but I believe they grow Eustis. Alan is correct in describing the fruit too. I have Eustis limequats at the nursery.

If the nursery tag has a deer head on it and it's from Florida then it's probably Record Buck and your tree is very likely a Lakeland then because that's where mine came from.

In practical terms I find the Lakelands and the true Key limes to be completely interchangeable.

Record Buck's is the nursery I was referring to. Up until Alan's post, I have thought Record Buck's grew Eustis, but I could be wrong, it just might be Lakeland. I understand that they look much alike. I took some pictures of my limequate and key lime that clearly shows the difference it the two. I will try to post them tonight.

Sure looks like my limequat, but I disagree that limequats and key limes are completely interchangeable. When mature, the peel of a limequat is edible, but the peel of a key lime never gets edible, at least in my opinion.

Lazz,

Yours looks much like mine except mine has turned yellow and yours may be a little more elongated, which might be because mine is ripe. I have read that one or the other has an orange tint when ripe. How about yours? Also, mine has 8 sections where your's has 7, which I think might be normal variation.

In all of the limequats I have seen there is a noticable difference in true Key lime and limequat.

Here are some pics. In the first pic the top one is a limequat and the bottom one a Key lime.

The one on the left is a lime and on the right is a limequat.

Right limequat, left Key lime

I am pretty sure this is Eustis. I compared it to at a good picture of Eustis on the front of Lance Waldheim's Citrus, and it is a dead ringer for mine.
