I just bought a Meyer Lemon semi dwarf in a one gallon pot which also included 6 or 7 rooted seedlings so I translated them into another pot. What can I expect to come of them? Is it worth it to try to cultivate them?

In my opinion no it isn't. You don't even know if they are Meyer or not. And it will take years to fruit or even to get to a size you can graft too.
If you wish just a pot with green leaves yes it is worth it.

I agree. If you want to grow a citrus tree from seed, I would start some that grow true so that you will at least know what you are getting and how long it will take to get fruit. Good choices would be key lime, satsuma, mandarins.

The Meyer Lemons I have grown from seed, seem to be a range mix of Citron to Lime foliage/plant types.Several have flowered reasonably early in pots. Only one has set fruit, a pear shape low acid meyer-citron with edible skin. If you want to work with variable seedling types, I would keep them.
The Meyer seems to have a lot of interesting seedling variation. Not sure if my seedlot was crossed or not, if so the only nearby plant was a Navel Orange,so maybe not?

Pagnr your Meyer seedling with the unusual fruit sounds great, what do the flesh and skin taste like? Are they pleasant? How long did it take to fruit from seed? Any pictures we could see?

I have some Meyer seedlings growing, I can't wait to see what they produce. I wish we didn't have to wait years to find out Laughing

Yes, even though it's been a year I'd love to see that too. How interesting pagnr. I'll send you a direct pm as this thread is an old one and is off-topic from the OP.

Because Meyer lemons do not produce true from seed, who know what fruit type, or even the quality they will produce. - Millet (602-)
