I taste-tested a sweet lemon for the first time and found it disappointing. Some books describe the taste as insipid and I would have to agree. The pulp and juice is reminiscent of a much watered down pummelo while the rind produced an unpleasant smell like that of a citron (etrog) leaf. So what do people do with this fruit?

I was also disappointed with sweet limes. I don't know of any other uses for these, except perhaps for their subtle scent that gets imparted unto the drink. Maybe good with gin or vodka.
