I recently purchased a Cara Cara Tree that was supposed to be a 2 to 3 yr. old tree; However, upon arrival, the tree was in pretty bad shape. I repotted the tree and watered deeply. After about 3 weeks, I fertilized it with a citrus water soluable fertilizer that I have purchased online that is a 24-14-14. Unfortunately, the tree continued to die back and now all that I have is really one small stem of growth. Something that I have noticed is that the scar/graph line of the rootstock is very high when compared to the rest of my newly purchased citrus trees. Is this normal? Should I continue to try and grow this tree? It has some good leaves on it but is does not seem to be spreading out with any new stems. All input is welcome. Thanks, Tim.

That could be the smallest 2-3 yr old tree I have ever seen. So the guy gave you a small tree, full of bugs and it came FROM Florida to North Carolina? Sounds like a shady operation... Is there ANY legal way to get citrus shipped out of Florida or is this grower totally in the wrong?
