I want to extend the tangerine/satsuma/mandarin season at the house by planting a late variety. We typically (not this year though) get our coldest weather in late January and February so I want to make this one a container tree so as not to run the risk of having the fruit frozen off the tree.
Murcotts are the tangerines one finds in the stores around here this time of year and we like them so it's the one I'm considering going with. In looking for Florida sources I find that Jene's carries them (

Anything out of the ordinary to consider about these as container plants? They'll go into the same CHC mix that I keep all of my container citrus in.
