Hi.

I'm wondering....

What cause the growing tip to fall off too easily?

I notice that with some of my containerized citruses. One day I see that the tip is actively growing, then the next, the tip is missing OR have been cut off OR is hanging off the branch end like a chad. It's Spring time, so why is the tip falling off prematurely?

Is this normal? I inspect my plants often, and I don't see or have any major pest. I am suspecting the strong wind or the watering from the spray hose to be the culprit.

Any idea?

I have seen tips fall off one of my trees that was putting on so much growth I don't think it support it all. I think it helped when I started spraying with nutrient solutions.
