Citrus FLAVORED apple wine.......




Strawberry FLAVORED citrus wine....


Now why couldn't they use citrus wine to flavor the citrus flavored wine?????
A friend had gotten these for a party and gave me the bottles.. I just about busted a gut when I read the labels..
oh.. the Orange flavored apple wine wasn't all that great.. and the strawberry flavored citrus wine was ok.. I could tell the difference..
the orange flavored apple wine was like drinking Tang with a fizz and a bit of extra sugar..
even though it was strawberry flavored I could still taste the citrus.. but then probably because I was looking for it.. No citric acid needed for flavoring there!!!
I guess not too bad for a $3 bottle..

Gina, most of those flavoring are artificial, that's why the low price. Those are amusing.

I have been keeping a bottle of Real Calamondin Wine in my chiller, with your name on it. Too bad, it is a federal offense to ship it to you without me having to build a commercial brewhouse with appropriate licenses. So in case any of your relatives come by or you can visit your relatives here, I can bring it halfway or you can pick it up and give you and your family my "short-step" citrus tour and wine tasting after that. Real wines made and naturally flavored with real fruits.

Hehe... We used to drink that stuff in highschool because it was so cheap. I can tell you it is terrible !!!

But it is my wife's favorite wine. She can drink the whole bottle before going to bed but she got flat after that.
The reason is that it is the ONLY wine that taste sweet.
I am still on the prowl for a sweeter wine for my wife..
