Ya ber!!!

I heard they can grow grapefruit up here. Packed up the peeps and
here we are. Less traffic, better pay, better schools(peeps gotta learn),
all signs pointed here. I rounded up the citrus collection(no not herbicide))

I left an Owari in the ground back in Chas. with the new homeowner.
He won't realize what a great tree that is until harvest time. YUM!

I gave away a nice calomondin to a Chas. neighbor who was interested in citrus.

I've bought no new citrus since the expo down there last fall.

The rootstock that laaz gave me almost a year ago(FD) is larger than pencil sized, but I'm too chicken to graft it.

Still on the to-do list: visit Ned, visit Stan, visit laaz and Darren in Chas.

The new house has a sunroom, so I'm having to change my whole wintertime scene for growing citrus..

I had good luck letting them go dormant and keeping them protected on a porch. With a sunroom, I want to keep feeding them the JUICE and get those fabled last season growth flushes. Some people talk about stopping the ferts around this time of year. In the past I would stop, too. This year I might feed them until nov.!

No sundogs this year. No leaf miners this year. None!

Trees are loaded. Like is good!!!!

Hey Scott, how is it going? Life must be good in Columbia. I still think about the huge Pomello that you lugged all the way to the 2005 Citrus Expo in Charleston. You going to the 2006 Expo? Nice seeing you posting. Take care. - Millet

Hello Scott, nice to see you posting here again. I too will always remember your great pomello at the expo! You even gave me one to take home. What a treat! I brought friends over to share & they were amazed at it's size. Thanks again.
