LOL ...

I loved to ... but I have neither car nor time ...

I just know it from our cherries here ...
We have the delicious HERZKIRSCHE, a cherry that looks like a red heart.

I love it, but even if poisened, there are worms of it.

I surely ate thousands of worms, but I love the taste too much to miss it.

We also have sour cherries, the french breed Chateau Moreau, we call it Schattenmorellen.
Extreme tasty, but even them have some worms when get fully ripe and sweet ...
Only when they are bright red and transparent look, they are worm free .. too sour I guess, but when they get deep red and sweet, worms appear in some.

I'm very proud of one cherry tree grafted (a 22 months ago) onto a cherry seedling, That scion is from the very best cherry I ever tasted, an old variety. The tree should start producing after a couple of years, so you have a time to find a way to drop by - then we will taste/discuss those worms err fruits Trilly-77-24
