I don't post here much so I wanted to drop in and share a progress report on my meyer lemon.
The unusual spots I posted pictures of previously have not intruded on the tree's good health. I have a half dozen lemons growing furiously. The largest is already bigger than your typical store Lisbon / Eureka. I'm not sure how big they will get but they have not shown any signs of turning yellow yet. The bloom these lemons came from was back in early July so I think they have some months to go yet. Lemons take 6 months from bloom to harvest or is it 4?
I also noticed a new flush of blooms last week and yesterday saw some new leaf growth.
So far so good. Come spring I'll be on the prowl for another tree I think.
