The tree in the first picture, and several others in the following pictures, have some type of a disease. Notice the black spots on the fruit and also the leaves. - Millet

I think, that seller wants to look serious, so took the pictures of those, which are sick. But 55.000 euros is pretty high for those 550 plants. I guess 20.000 should be enough.

An amazing collection, but also an amazing price!
I think this is being sold on behalf of someone else and as it is located near Hamburg could it be connected to AgrumiVoss?
I think we should have heard of such a private collection - can any of our German members tell us more?

this was my first thought too, so I asked the ebay agent.
It is the collection of Mr. Fabian. Here is his homepage and some other links, where he is looking for a successor (is this the right word? Smile )
Unfortunaltely he refuses to sell single plants only all at once, this is too much for me...

This would be a good collection for southern europe, many of his plants originate there. In Germany it will always be too expensive to care about.
He told me that this is the reason for him to sell it.
