Citrus does excellent inside a controlled environment.

I wish I had gone with fans/wetpads now. I have 11,000 cfm of cooling and I need a bit more. I'm really surprised in Colorado you need wetpads at all. Do you guys ever have days over 65F? Very Happy

Yep, mine is fully automated too with 6 cooling cycles and 2 heating. Hand cranking a curtain aint for this boy. BTW, went with Palram polycarbonate SolarSoft 85 on the roof and the 90 on the walls. The diffusion of this pc is excellent as is the cooling effect.

Are you doing avocados? I could share some budwood with you that I got from the U. of Riverside as soon as it gets a bit bigger. I have Reed (growers sell their Hass, keep the Reeds for themselves it's so good), Kona Sharwil (THE gourmet avocado of Hawaii and Australia) and Gwen, an expired patented dwarf seedling of Hass, better in culture and fruit quality. High oil, rich and creamy. Wish I could post some pix without using a URL.

Happy New Year!

I almost went with double wall PC but couldn't let myself part with so much light. I get plenty of direct north light May thru July, guess because I'm south of you as the sun swings north around the solstice. Single digit winter nights are very rare for us.

Day is a good avocado but gets really big. I also have Brogdon which gets big. Am using Bonzi (a PGR) to try to cut down on the size, and pruning. You'd be better off with a dwarf like Gwen which has short internodes and gets to around 10'. Have given some of my citrus 3 haircuts lately. Some like the Mexican lime are exploding with blossoms and new foliage. They really like the RootBuilder pots.
