Quite a few years ago when I first became interested in growing citrus, I tried desperately to obtain seeds of Poncirus trifoliata. In the days before the internet and e-mail it wasn't easy, and the seeds I managed to buy never germinated. It was only when I found a fruiting plant, that I succeeded in growing enough seedlings to start propagating in earnest. Since then I have kept a record of all the mature Poncirus plants I have come across.
I've been working on an interactive map to show where they are, just in case someone else is following in my footsteps and trying to grow some decent rootstocks.
So here's the result. Only for the British Isles. Comments welcome, especially if anyone knows of any more mature plants, but also if the map doesn't work properly for you.

Nice bit of work, Citrange Smile

It works with Firefox 1.5.0.8 under Linux 2.6.18-1.2849.fc6
With a display resolution of 1024x768, I reduced text size
to 90% and then the Blue text on the right hand side fit in
the rectangle. Maybe I needed to reduce the size of the text
because I am using 16 point fonts to compensate for my
old eyes.

Thanks both for your comments.
Tomm: I included a line
"font-size: 90%"
in the code, exactly because the text was getting outside the box.
Maybe not all systems interpret that correctly. Or, perhaps, as you say, you can override it. I can only check IExplorer and Firefox under WIN98SE and XP. Those seemed OK.
Anyway, if I locate many more Poncirus, I'll have to re-arrange the text somwhere else on the page, as I can't keep on making it smaller!
Mike.

that's so cool!

Pretty soon, more citruses could be planted in UK. The latest news is that with the climatic change, grapes and wine making is booming over there, favored by global warming. So perhaps it is time to plant better tasting cold hardy (by our definition of cold hardy) citruses in the ground outside.

Very nice work!!!
