Just water it like you would a potted citrus tree. When it gets really warm and if the pups are alive, it should shoot out quickly. But if the max temperature remains colder than 50 deg F, or the minimum temp lower than 38 deg F, refrain any watering and better to bring the pot indoors where it will be warmer.

We are toasting out there now, 100 deg F and 60 deg F early morning lows. Banana pups are sometimes growing half a ft per week! They slow down when they reach a ft before blooming height.

Maybe lack of water is my problem i thought the soil moist but too wet so just soak it for a day then let dry then soak again ?

Befor i did this alot but i was scared id kill what chance it had to live thanks Joe ..

PS on the other site im in for some rhisomes and there 3 footers for Ice cream bananas i might get something cld hardy but smaller as well.. any advice there ? Tammy
