Just logged in and was a bit surprised to see an ad for the TyTy nursery in the Google ad bar at the top of the page.

I have no control over the free ads... I would assume everyone knows better than to purchase anything from them, but who knows.

Admin will have to filter the ad with google. The ad's are computer generated given the specific keywords it picks up on the page. Chances are, since this is a forumup hosted site, admin has no control over the ads, unless he is paying for it. Just one of those things with free hosts.

i use custom host file, Firefox with adblock and the majority of ads are removed from most sites. the internet is nice without all the ads.

i really like removing the ads from gmail.

That is correct. To have the ads removed I would have to pay which can get very expensive.
