I'm getting a bumper crop of this. Alone it tastes like the worst insipid orange I've every tasted. No orange flavor, just sweet. It is coloring up pretty good now. The only use I've figured for it is to dilute the acid in grapefruit juice. Anyone else?

Wait some more, let it keep on the tree and observe. Mine has improved flavor through time. Also, it developed flowery ( some rose aroma ) overtones in the taste. Very interesting, as the flavor is truly unique. Mine keeps long on the tree. At first, they are very insipid, but as I tracked the taste through time, it improved. But if you don't like eating the fragrance of the roses, then this is not the variety for you. I somehow able to detect such subtle flavors, from my wine making hobby, and so appreciated the subtle flowery aroma of the flesh from Vainigilia Sanguigno.
