After crying all day over my frost ridden Avocado trees and my half dead Passion Fruit vine , I'm trying to look for a silver lining in the cloud. The leaf miners have done a number on all of my citrus trees this year. Is this frost and freezing temperatures going to kill those little boogers off for next season? I've been using Spinosad successfully, but the weekly application gets tiresome. I'm hoping that their frozen little corpses are adding nitrogen to my soil under my citrus trees.
