Everyday we choose one tree to repair from the years of neglect this property suffered prior to our ownership.

Today, we began removing all dead wood from a half lime/half lemon. The grafted portion of the 25 year old trunk is lime. Someone let a sucker grow, and that is lemon. Since both trunks are equal in size, the sucker will stay.

We noticed leaf miner damage here and there, and then we encountered a line of whitish bumpy things that look like eggs or fungus or something.

What does this look like to you, and what should we do about it? It seems to be contained to one limb, and is in a few places on that limb.

Thanks!

Hard to see in the photo, but it may be scale.

Thanks for the quick reply! That looks exactly like it, and the link is great! We will do all we can to rid the tree of this, and try to prevent it in the future.

This is only one of several citrus, so we will inspect them all!

Thanks!
