The only "touch up" this photo got was two black dots with reflective light for eyes.. I enjoyed taking lots of pictures of "smiley"..

they are field grown.. in a few months they will be harvested and sold..
I'm in FARM land.. you have fields of corn, soybean, wheat, and my fav sunflowers.. golden yellow fields of sunflowers.. I'll see about taking my camera out and sanping a few good shots before harvest time..
Kinda makes up for the fact that it is about 80 or 90 miles to nearest mall..
Ahh.. the simple pleasures of life..

Sunflower - the offical state flower of Kansas. They also grow them around here, some for oil and some are confectionery. The commerical varieties always point to the east. -Makes a pretty field when they are in flower Millet

Yes.. and the State song is "Home on the Range" Shocked State Tree is (Sniffle) Cottonwood (achoo) dang alergies... and the yellow brick road is about 60 miles down the road from me.. in Sedan http://skyways.lib.ks.us/towns/Sedan/city.html Don't blink or you'll miss it.. Laughing Wink
I think this field is destoned for bird seed..
