The prolonged rainy season and winter along with the sudden coming of summer can sometimes drive some of my fruit trees to do weird things. Although they have done this in the past, happened to persimmons, plums, peaches, even roses, this is the first time I have taken photos as proof and I did not forget this year.

Very weird Fuji Apple fruitlets, notice the other ones also:

Another one. Same thing happened to my plum last year, but the fruit was eaten by the birds before I got to harvest them:

Hi Benny,

I dilute 1 cup hydrogen peroxide with 7 cups water inside a sprayer covered with aluminum foil or dark cloth and spray.

After 1 week of peroxide application, the next step will be:

If you got milk, then apply the rules of 10:
every 10 days, spray 10% milk solution unto the affected leaves of any trees. Any cheap milk should work. Mix 1 cup milk (2% fat) to 9 cups water and spray away on the 10th, 20th and 30th of each month until the mildews are gone. If February, hey that;s not counted, there are no mildews yet at least in our area.

Scientists are still puzzled as to why milk is as effective as the best and most expensive retail fungicides out there when controlling powdery mildew.

Thank you so much Joe. When it work it will be one of the best advices so far for me. I 've been having problems with them year after year.
I cut the affected branches and burn them but they keep coming back. As a result the leaves are stunted and small.

Benny, if the mildew problem is severe, use stronger milk concentration, like 1 part milk to 2 parts water and apply everry week.

There is still another solution which is gross but have been proven by some researchers. They use 1 part urine to 4 parts water as fungicide. You can roam around in your orchard with a portable sprayer and garden hose, and loads of cold beer for recharging Laughing No I'm not using this gross technique. But if you see some signs of fruit thief, simply put up a sign that says "Clean fruits were sprayed regularly with urine!" that's really gross for me.
