There a somewhat common yellow Indian grown lime called the Indian Sweet Lime. It is grown in the Punjab area of India, where it is locally called Mitha nimbu. I have also heard it called Palestine Lime. The fruit is medium in size and roundish in shape, often with a small nipple. Instead of the pulp having the normal greenish coloration, the pulp is more of a straw-yellow color. - Millet

Yuzuquat, actually the Indian Sweet lime is not all that sweet, and it is certainly not acid. It is called a "sweet" lime because it has no acid. To me it taste sort of insipid. - Millet
Hi ,having been to india over a long time, know the sweet lime well,no acid some say little bit of a soapy after taste, indians use in soda water and on salads. Small bushy tree, also will fruit from seed in few years.

I grew a tree from seed, and it did fruit in 3 years. I like it but I have never met many citrus that I didn't. Millet is spot on with his description and I just consider it a mild lime.
