Hello folks,

Does anyone have expereicne with series of tropical storms (stalled cold front for a week)?

I have my Meyer lemon tree outside while frequent heavy rain. I checked it today and was amazed to see that my citrus tree survived so well and formed new leaves. Yes, I use Miracle-Gro moisture control potting mix (1/3) with pine bark nuggets mixed (2/3). Also, frequent heavy rain cause new growth boost (new leaves) in my citrus tree.

Thanks!
Tim

As long as you have very good drainage which I suspect you have an the temperature ranges from 60 to 90 deg F, that would be ideal under high humidity. A prolonged humidity and rainfall can encourage fungal diseases as well.

Hello folks,

Ok, thanks for replies. My meyer lemon survived so well. There are many new leaves since last month. Some leaves became so huge like elephant ear leaves! Yes, 2 inches across.

Thanks!
Tim
