Many of my containerized trees, and some of my in ground trees, have started their "spring" flush and boom. Because they are in a controlled greenhouse atmosphere, the growth/bloom cannot be due to the heat, so it must be due to the lengthening of the day light. The bloom should be very good, as they have almost 900 cool hours of bud differentiating temperatures. - Millet (1,446-)

Doing a lot of reading about the length of day light on the bloom and fruit growth. I find that the longer days actually have no effect, or extremely little ---if at all, on the growth or bloom of my trees. Heat, moisture, are the factors that are involved. - Millet (1,430-)

I am going to side with the heat too. My lemons and lime have been in the garage since late October, early November and two weeks ago, they all just exploded with buds. Nothing has changed in the garage, except the temp from warmer days. My Key and Ponderosa both had a bad case of WLD, too far away from the humidifier I guess?
