I just wanted to give a word of thanks to JoeReal, Millet, and all of the others who have offered advice and counsel on the GW and now on this forum. The help has been invaluable.

I hope that I don't jinx myself by saying this, but with the help found on this forum I have realized success with each of my new trees. I have healthy appearing new growth on Valencia, Calamondin, Satsuma, and Nagami Kumquat in CHC. The roots are extending nicely out into the CHC medium. I have small fruit on the plants.

Thanks again,
Robert

On behalf of other nice people here, you're very much welcome Robert! We're glad to help. Just keep posting whatever "jinx" may come by, LOL!

Hi robert. This is exactly why this forum was created. I hope you enjoy many more years of citrus growing.

I second this motion. I don't know where I would be with these plants without all your help. People come over and are in awe that it's possible to grow them here let alone with a huge lemon hanging from it.

Thank you guys!!

Robert, thank you for being a valuable member. Think about attending the 2006 Citrus Expo, in Virginia Beach, VA November 18th, 2006. We had a GREAT time at last years Expo in Charleston, SC. You can find some of the REALLY hard to find citrus varieties at the Expo tree sale. Millet

Yes, I encourage all to come to the next expo. I was at the last one & had a ball - & learned a lot from these great people. Millet, Laaz, Citrus Joe, Stan, etc took good care of me In fact, that's why I refer to them as my Brothers! Ned taught me a lot about grafting with his demos. I just got grafting tape thru mail order & will start soon!
I will have a gathering next week Sat of close to 40-50 ppl here & they will all be impressed with my huge Ponderosa lemon haning on tree with several smaller ones growing & my other citrus with tons of blossoms. No one grows them here...it's unheard of. I wouldn't be able to keep them going without the help here when I have a problem.
