I hope someone can answer this queation for me.
I have a large mexican lime planted with literally hundreds of limes growing on it. They are growing and getting larger but none are close to maturity. Just to check the juice content of one of the larger ones (about the size of a quarter), I cut it open and it was very very dry....almost no juice at all. Is there something wrong with the lime or is it natural for very immature limes to be dry at this point? The tree receives plenty of water and is constantly moist in a very free draining soil.

Thanks for any answers you folks might have.

It's hard to know exactly what is meant by very dry, but it is quite normal for immature fruit to contain little or no extractable juice. I suspect this is the case with your limes. They'll get juicier as they approach maturity.
