My Miewa kumquats are totally sweet this year--not sweet/sour like in the past. May have been cool spring influence.

Mine are still half green but they appear to be coloring up fast.

I ate my first one yesterday, from one of Stan's plants. It was yummy and not tart at all, like eating candy.

In the past ours have been a little sweet/tart, but whatever changed I am not sure, cool spring seems most likely to me, but we have also had a warm fall, except for 2 really low fronts that pushed through. We had almost no nights in the 40's and 50's--it went directly from lows in the 60's to lows in the 30's.
