I have a HongKong kumquat x trifoliate cross that's has a 3 inch trunk. It hasn't fruited yet and I don't think it's worth waiting for.
I decided to try a Top Graft. I've never tried one before.
In 10 days it started to flush. All three scions are doing well.

Well you do have pics, but you really should get permanent labels on them before the ink fades. It will be interesting to see what happens as they get a lot bigger and merge and I hope you took vigor into account.

You are right I haven't put a tag on the 3 scions. I was thinking that the first picture I posted with a fence behind it would be enough for me to figure out which scion is which.
As far as taking vigor into account, this is my first "top graft". I don't really know what I'm doing. I just did it the way I saw others do it. But, I will record its progress.
