Found this sago cut in 3 pieces at a neighbor's curb last summer. There was another one as large not cut. Got that one too. Sagos this large go for $$$. Had many yankees moving into SE Texas that apparently don't like sagos. Looks like the top part is growing out. Supposedly a chunk of sago will grow into one. We shall see!

You can cut the trunks up & most all will root out.

A little heads up on "Sago's". Cycas revoluta suck because they are very susceptible to scale...

If you can find them, get the Cycas taitungensis. They identical & get a little bit larger and do not get the scale problem Cycas revoluta gets.
