I would like to buy an inexpensive cold frame before next fall, approximately 18x30. Does anyone have any recommendations on what brand to buy or where to purchase one? I have absolutely no experience with greenhouses. Do they get too hot in the Summer to leave the plants inside them? I think it would be nice to have one that I could just leave the plants in year round.

I'm all about inexpensive- I have no money!
Why not build one out of PVC pipe and plastic sheeting? Here are some plans and parts lists:

This site above has a lot of good greenhouse info, kits, etc.

A greenhouse can get too hot for plants in the summer, usually they have some way to open windows or panels, or have ventilation fans. I like automatic vents that open with warmth.

Thanks Cristo! that looks like a great little greenhouse. I've been considering building one out of PVC anyways. That settles it, I'm going to make me one. Shouldn't cost very much to build. I'll post some pictures when I get it.
