I know it will not be fruiting until late in the year, but, I hear it has the best flavor of all grapefruits and is seedy. But, I guess because it is seedy, it has been phased. Well, I don't mind seeds and I prefer full flavor! I will be moving to Arizona and I cannot find an AZ or CA nursery that sells them. I have found out that it is legal to ship citrus seeds into AZ. So, just trying to find my source early!!! Very Happy

I have a Duncan, you are welcome to seeds when they are ripe around Dec.

To bad you did not post this thread a couple weeks ago. I just tossed out a young Duncan grapefruit. I got the seed from Laaz when I visited him a year or so ago.

I heard that it is the best tasting of all grapefruit. From people on here who have grown multiple varieties, would you agree with that or are the other varieties that are superior in flavor?

I would say it depends on your taste buds. To me the best tasting grapefruit is Ruby red.

I vote for Duncan. I had some duncan fruit in Florida in March and it was fabulous.
