So these are 4 of my outdoor trees that I got from Stan. 2 of them have been in the ground for 2 winters and 2 for one... They all seem to be doing pretty well

Thanks,
They did surprisingly well with minimal heat... The tommasville had a fruit left over from the fall.... It was green, the skin wasnt very good, but the fruit was juicy with a lime taste....

Nice ones there Frank! What sort of winter shelters do you use?

Cheers, Barrie.

These particular trees had a bucket of water between them. In the water there was a 50 watt aquaruim heater set to 65f. The trees and water were covered with plastic and a blanket and a blue tarp.... They were covered like this from early Dec to Late March... I dont beleive the whole thing got colder than the high 20's

So these guys grow fast, I have 3 fruits and many flowers ready to blossom.Should I pinch the flowers off? I dont plan on giving them sun after October...

SO I ate 1 of the fruit, very green, dry, the skin was terrible, but the fruit WASNT ALL that bad..............kinda like a lime, very encouraging...

thanks Frank

It is a pity that friuts of Thomasville take such a long time for ripening. Sanford curafora is even worse...
