I only heard that scale is a tiny "armoured" insect that need to be scraped off leaves. Also heard that where there are ants, there's probly scale.
Been noticing lots of ants on my honey murcott & just knock or hose them off. It is between a lemon & lime but nothing on those. Today, the ants are back, so I checked all leaves. Only thing I found were some dark specks - like a dot with a pen that I sorta scraped off. Is this scale? I can't find aphids or mites. No fruite fallen & leaves look ok so far.
Otherwise, why are ants all over this tree?
I also noticed some 'millipedey' 1/2 inch red/brown squiggely, crawly things in soil. Will any bugs come out or drown if I flush before I bring in house? Thanks
