As my screen name suggestes I am new to this whole thing & dont know much. Any/ all help will be greatly appreciated.
I recently planted a Wash. Navel Orange tree. I've been watering regularly & its was doing O.K. new leaves are forming but after a week or two, they start yellowing, then eventually curl up. Some of the older leaves have curled up also. The tree is a graft (I think thats it what you call it) that I bought from a nursery Around Christmas time, It had a couple of full grown oranges at the time.
So I guess I'm asking what I can do to make my tree look Healthy again?

We need more information to help diagnose the problem fully, but you say you water the tree regularly--that may be the problem.

Overwatering is the main cause of citrus tree death in the hands of individuals. Citrus prefer to be much drier than most houshold plants--do not water unless the soil is dry at least 2-3 inches deep. If it is planted inground, once established it should rarely need watering--only in case of drought.

Use the search function at the top of the page to find threads and post about any topic you need help with--there are many problems and questions that have been discussed here that I'm sure will help with your new tree, but feel free to ask anytime you have a problem.

We would certainly help you and your navel orange tree, to the best of our ability. However, we need additional information.

1. Planted in the ground or container, and what climate type. (Location)
A. If in a container what is the potting mix made from.
2. What has the fertilizer schedule been since you purchased the tree.
3. How often do you water the tree.
