Does anoyone know the temp that freezes a honey tangerine? I have one tree and the fruit seems to freeze quicker than a valencia, meyer or satsuma. I always have gone by the rule of 28 for four hours to hurt fruit and 26 for four hours to hurt the tree. I'm guessing that was a good rule in Florida for our valencia grove years ago, but I'm wondering if I need to be more protective of my murcotts.

In 2010, it freeze(20F) about 3 days in Houston, TX. My Tangerine tree 14yrs old has no problem but all fruits turn bad.
