This recipe was just passed around on a fig list, but thought with the lemon juice and orange zest it would fit in well here. Have yet to try it myself, but looks yummy!

Persian Sweets

3/4 c. figs
3/4 c. dates
3/4 c. walnuts
2 tbsp. grated orange rind
2 tbsp. Tang
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. pecan halves
Powdered sugar

In a food processor, grind first 3 ingredients. Work
in next 3 and enough powdered sugar to make a firm
mixture. Shape into 15 inch long roll on a powdered
sugar surface. Cut into 1/2 inch thick slices and
coat each with powdered sugar. Top each with a pecan
half and place on wax paper to dry 2 to 3 hours. Then
place in small petite four paper cups. Can store in
airtight container in refrigerator for 1 month or 6
months in the freezer.
