I've read on other forums that multi trunk plants are NOT desireable. Is there a reason for this? Less fruit production or? Is it even possible in containers? Just curious, sounds more interesting. I know most of my non citrus plants, I do prefer the multi stems. But, I also want to do whats best for the tree too. Being an indoor plant obviously the container can only be a certain size.

Any suggestions, info wouldbe great

I asked a while ago if I should make my calamondin branch, cause most small citrus I saw were branchy. I dont think theres any reason that it is a definate NO, many people prefer the organized look of a standard tree, and its probabaly easier to keep balanced in a pot if its more standard shaped once it gets loaded with fruit.
