I had these in the propagation forum but think it fits better here. This is sort of a photo journal of my key lime seedling as it grows. I can't remember exactly when it germinated but I think it was around the beginning of July.

We had a good bit of wind a few days ago that knocked a few of my other seedlings over and I lost them. Luckily, the ones that were doing pretty well made it through fine.

Be sure to anchor your container. However, it is the wind that makes citrus seedlings strong. The flicking back and forth against the pressure of the wind is natures method of producing a strong straight stem. - Millet

Thanks for the advice Millet. I like to leave them outside, exposed to the wind (as opposed to on my west-southwest facing window which is where they were at first) for the reasons you stated but I was asking for trouble by not anchoring them. Luckily, only two fell over and it wasn' too bad. On the upside, I am learning a lot and am enjoying the experience (although my wife teases me that it reminds her of elementary school science class with growing seeds in a cup Very Happy ).
