My MK Valencia tree is starting to throw out new growth again. The leaves on several new sports have very large and pronounced petioles. I've tried to take a few pictures, but they could be better. Is this a strange occurence?

I should add that the two sports doing this, are showing the same thing on most of the leaves.

My Trovita orange does the same thing. Some of the larger leaves grew with large petioles when they were new. Later growth flushes on the same branches have had normal sized petioles. I don't really know for sure but I suspect it is a normal thing with all sweet oranges.

It certainly isn't happening on all of them. Only two of about 10 new growth areas show this. The other growth areas on this tree have no signs of this. The growth is on the inner portion of the branch. I guess it's no big deal, but I was hoping these sports were some kind of freaks!
