Yes, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Went for a nice walk on the beach this AM...
And made a tasty Thanksgiving appetizer after getting back to the house!
Fresh mussels steamed in beer with hot pepper sauce, olive oil, parsley, sauteed onions, garlic, and meyer lemon wedges.  |

Damn they look good. I should have hit the beach as well. Could have got a bunch of clams to steam up.

Yeah, they tasted great. Your pics of the steamers earlier inspired me.
Found the recipe on the web in about 5 seconds... when I saw one that said steam them in beer, I knew I had a winner. |
