Nice site, thanks for the posting. Young citrus generally grow that fast in ground that is fortified with all the nutritional requirements, and being in a warm climate, also greenhouse grown trees.

That's a great site.

Usually when the term cloning is used, it implies tissue culture, so what is only missing is tissue culture. With most citruses being nucellar, tissue culture should be naturally easy.

Here is the home page: http://www.citrolima.com.br/welcome.htm
I was interested to see grafting onto 2 rootstock (on newsletter page). Probably old news to you folks but I haven't heard of that before...

Thanks for posting that one. Susan, see the rootstock cultivars forum in our site. I have posted one topic there a long time ago, including the theory why it could be beneficial based on scientific research done by others on plants that were forced to share the same soil resources.

Suzan, Here a link to some pictures and a post I made back in June. The tree looked bad before I inarched some other rootsstocks to it. Now it looks better than ever, and had a bumper crop this season. Like Joe menitoned, I believe having the different rootstocks, providing the tree with nutrients, has resulted in a healthier tree. I think I have three different rootstocks grafted to it.
