The Denver Broncos embarrassed themselves tonight. Seattle's defense, at least in this game, was simply dominating, from the very first play to the last play of the game. Congratulations Seahawks, a great team and an extraordinary great win. Seattle gave Denver the 3rd worst defeat in the history of the Super Bowl. Many people were looking forward to a good game, from the best offense facing the best defense - it never developed. - Millet |

Yes it looked like Denver didn't show up. The Seahawks played very good. Denver never got going. I hate it for Payton.
On a similar but different note. Our local newspaper writer wrote that people are now using the term "thug" as a substitute for the "n" word. The writer was quoting the Seahawks corner that went on a rant in the semi finals when they beat San Francisco.
A thug is usually defined as a common criminal that hurts people , often for money. Almost synonymous as "punk" to me. If the shoe fits......white or black. Tom _________________ Tom in central Alabama |

Very sorry Bob. It's a great achievement to get to the Super Bowl. That game is a very odd one and sometimes things go the other way quickly. It was a great season for your team and I hope you're not feeling too pained by last night. When my Pats went undefeated and lost in the end game it was almost like someone died for a lot of us NE fans in the following days.
I really liked reading about how Peyton promised to come back and give an autograph to one fan. Very classy guy to represent a good footfall organization. I hope your team makes it back to the big game next year (that is, unless the Pats can do it). |

Manning has said if his health holds out, he plans on playing probably for two more years. I believe it, as the Broncos pay him $20,000,000.00 per year. - Millet |

This years Super Bowl contested the seasons #1 offense team against the seasons #1 defensive team. Over the 48 years the Super Bowl has been played, the same scenario has occurred 5 times. Of these 5 games, the defensive team won 4 of the 5 games. - Millet |

I was mostly surprised by how much the defense was able to get to Manning. I thought that offensive line would hold up better. |
