Hello citrus enthusiasts. Phil Hageman is the name and I live in Green Cove Springs, Florida. I moved here from Summerville, SC 16 years ago and upon buying my home, planted a number of citrus trees, my primary objective being to grow nice specimens of a number of varieties, and second to have a long harvest season of tasty eating fruits. For the most part that has succeeded, the only failure was the loss two years ago of a very nice key lime tree – just could not survive a full week of freezing temperatures. All other trees doing quite well and include: Valencia, pink grapefruit, Satsuma, Clementine, Ruby Red, Temple, Honey Murcott, Thompson Seedless, Myers, and Negami. Current project is to acquire a Sanguinelli blood orange. I’ve joined the forum to expand knowledge of citrus culture and look forward to sharing experiences.

Hello, and thanks much for the warm welcome - already feel at home. In fact, I'm seeking and getting advice on an upcoming Murcott transplant. Really appreciate your advice and will share my experiences as well. Thanks again.
