This orlando tangelo tree has dozens of fruit on it and only 2 years in the ground. The minneola tangelo net to it planted at the same time is now looking 50% bigger since plucked the fruit off of it. Both on flying dragon.

I would have waited another year but like tangelos so much!

I am tormented by small fruit on some of my trees and I have went out there several times with clippers in hand only to return degected after having been seduced by the thought of my first juicy succulent fruit from the trees. I probably will again tommorrow try to complete my mission and maybe this time I will be stronger a not succumb to the siren's song.

According to Purdue University research, leaving one fruit on a young tree will result in no reduction in the growth of the tree. - Millet (536-)

I remember you talking about that. I kinda feel like King Soloman though. It's a tough decision. I kept thinking that natural calamity would handle it but not yet. Ther are a few trees that I know I will have to step in and take action. Tomorrow is the day.
