I have not. But I have grown them for many years, outdoors, in the open soil. And under those conditions, they seldom flower before the 2nd or 3rd year, when the vines are 15-20 feet long. (These were cutting-grown mature wood; not juvenile seedlings). So I wonder if they'd bloom if kept smaller, in a pot.

my biggest concern is how out of control they can get trying to dig there little vines into my wall and climb them , also how much vine you have to have to get fruit. My husband said when he lived in hawaii that they were like a weed there killing and choking out large mango trees and other plants.
